MATHEMATICS TEACHER
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, or Mathematics-Informatics – teaching concentration, or with pedagogical, psychological, and methodological qualification (candidates with a Master’s Degree will have an advantage over other candidates)
- English Language Proficiency (level C1 required)
- Candidates with State Professional Exam for Teachers according to the positive legal regulations will have an advantage over other candidates
- Candidates with an experience in teaching in High School will have an advantage over other candidates
- Experience in working with adolescents ages 14-18
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- The ability for Teamwork and collaboration
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
Job Description
- 16 classes of teaching per week
- Homeroom Teacher
- Participation in Teacher and Class Councils
- Consultations with Students
- Administrative activities
Conditions
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Starting Date: The academic Year 2024/2025 (September 1, 2024)
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-09:00 am until 2:30-3:00 pm (teachers are expected to be at work during the classes and important meetings)
- Duration of Contract: 12 months
- Vacation Days: Minimum 20 working days per year (the number is determined according to the Macedonian Labor Law) + additional 7 working days for sick leave
- Dress Code: Business Casual
- Professional Development: opportunities for participation in trainings, seminars, workshops, courses, etc., covered by AHSS
